Your Questions About Scuba Diving in Gran Canaria, Answered

How long does each dive last?

Expect 40 to 60 minutes underwater, depending on the site, your level, and how quickly you use your air.

What’s the group size during the dives?

Small groups only. We dive with 4 to 6 people per guide to keep things relaxed and personal.

Can I store my scuba gear at the center?

Of course! If you’re diving with us for a few days, we’ll store your gear for you. Easy and hassle-free.

I haven’t been diving in a while. Do I need a refresher?

If it’s been over a year since your last dive, a refresher is a good idea. Not mandatory—unless you need one-on-one attention.

Get in touch and we’ll talk it through.

Can I record or take underwater photos while diving?

Of course! Whether it’s a GoPro or any other camera, you’re welcome to capture your dive—just make sure it’s safely attached to your gear.

What happens if the weather is bad on my dive day?

If it’s not safe to dive, we’ll reschedule or refund you—no worries. The ocean’s in charge, but we’ll always find the best option for you.

Do I need a medical certificate to dive?

Not usually. Just fill out the SSI medical form. If you answer “yes” to any health questions, then yes—you’ll need a doctor’s note.

What wetsuit should I wear for scuba diving in Gran Canaria?

We recommend a 7 mm wetsuit year-round. If you get cold easily, add a thermal vest for extra warmth.

Can I go scuba diving in Gran Canaria for several days in a row?

Absolutely! Most of our divers do. You can explore different dive sites each day and we’ll tailor the plan to match your energy and interest.

Do you sell or rent scuba gear at your center?

Yes! We have basic items like masks, snorkels, and dive torches. And if you need something specific, we’ll help you get it through our suppliers.

Can I go diving if I have a cold or congestion?

It’s not a good idea. Congestion can make equalizing hard and cause problems. Better to wait until you feel 100%.

Your health comes first.

How much does scuba diving in Gran Canaria cost?

Prices start at €41 per dive (without gear, for 6+ dive packs). The total depends on how many dives you do and whether you need full equipment.

How can I pay?

Cash or card—whatever works best for you.

Still have questions?

Send us an email or a WhatsApp message. We’ll answer everything before you even zip up your wetsuit.
