Do I need to be an advanced diver to take an SSI specialty?
Nope.
Most of them can be done with just an Open Water certification. Some have extra requirements (like age), but we’ll explain everything clearly before you book. No surprises.
Can I take more than one SSI specialty at the same time?
Absolutely. Lots of divers do. If you’re staying a few days, we can combine courses so you don’t miss a thing.
Some specialties can even be taken alongside your first Open Water Diver course. Just ask us!
How long does an SSI specialty take?
It depends on the specialty. Some take just one day (like Nitrox or Perfect Buoyancy), others need 2–3 days if they include more dives.

Where do I do the theory — at the center or from home?
Wherever works for you. You’ll get access to the digital materials via the MySSI App. Study at your own rhythm — on the beach, at home, or between naps. And if you get stuck, we’re here to help.
What if I can’t come on my booked date?
